How to choose colorants used in plastics?

1 Coloring agent for PVC:

PVC is a kind of important general thermoplastic materials, use: building materials, cars, doors and Windows, etc., should be based on the processing conditions, the use of coloring products for a specific choice of colorant, of course, to avoid THE phenomenon of spray frost when PVC coloring.

PVC color spray frost phenomenon can be considered as a colorant partly dissolved organic pigment in the processing temperatures and at room temperature to produce pigment function caused by recrystallization, this phenomenon also exists in other polyolefin plastics, especially for soft PVC material, so for PVC color could be selected according to the different requirements of different class of organic pigments varieties:

(1) Universal colorant, with good economy, but general durability (yellow, orange and red) varieties are C. i. Pigment yellow 61, PIGMENT yellow 168, PIGMENT orange 13, C.I. Pigment ORANGE 34, C.I. pigment red 48:1, C.I. pigment red 48:2, C.I. Pigment red 48:3, pigment red 57:1, C.I. pigment red 57:2.

The excellent colorants (yellow, orange and red) are C.I. pigment yellow 139, C.I. Pigment yellow 183, PIGMENT yellow 191, PIGMENT Orange 43, Graphtol Fast Orange 5GL, C.I. Pigment red 151, pigment red 214, pigment red 242, C.I.

Colorants suitable for outdoor coloring products include C.I. pigment yellow 24, C.I. Pigment yellow 110, PIGMENT brown 23, PIGMENT brown 25, C.I. Pigment red 122, PIGMENT blue 15, PIGMENT blue 60, C.I. Pigment green 7, C.I. pigment purple 23.

2 PA with colorant

The colorants used for PA can be either organic pigments or dyes soluble in polymers. Organic pigments for PA coloring can be divided into two classes:

The organic pigment varieties with general application properties are C.I. pigment yellow 148 and C.I. Pigment yellow 150, PIGMENT yellow 187, PIGMENT red 149, C.I. Pigment red 177, pigment purple 23 C.I.

The excellent organic pigment varieties are C.I. pigment yellow 192, C.I. pigment orange 68 and C.I. Pigment blue 15:3, C.I. pigment green 7. Ci. pigment yellow 192 is a bright red heterocycle pigment without metal. It has high heat stability (300℃) and excellent weather fastness at low concentration, and can be used together with inorganic pigments such as titanium dioxide and zinc sulfide. C.I. Pigment Orange 68 is a bright red and orange nickel complex pigment containing benzimidazolone groups. It has excellent light and heat resistance.

Colouring agent for polyester materials

Polyester materials (including PET and PBT) can be colored with pigments such as C.I. pigment yellow 138 and C.I. Pigment yellow 147, pigment red 214, pigment red 242, C.I.

4 ABS coloring agent

The coloring of ABS mostly USES solvent dyes that are soluble in polymers, which not only have good transparency, but also good light fastness. If combined with inorganic pigments, opaque coloring products can be obtained. The common solvent dyes that are soluble in polymers are C.I. Solvent yellow 93, SOLVENT orange 60, solvent red 111, C.I. Solvent red 135, solvent blue 104, solvent green 3, C.I.
